Azeka’s Hawaiian Sweet Chili Candied Bacon Twists Recipe

Crispy, caramelized bacon strips twisted into irresistible spirals and glazed with Azeka’s Hawaiian Sweet Chili Sauce. These sweet-and-savory bites are easy to make and perfect for brunches, parties, or edible gifts.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound thick-cut bacon (approximately 12–16 strips)
  • ½ cup Azeka’s Hawaiian Sweet Chili Sauce
  • Optional: Brown sugar for extra caramelization

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top if you have one — this helps the bacon crisp evenly.
  2. Twist the Bacon
    Take each bacon strip and twist it from end to end into a spiral shape. The tighter the twist, the chewier the result; a looser twist will be crispier.
  3. Glaze with Sauce
    Using a basting brush or spoon, generously coat each bacon twist with Azeka’s Hawaiian Sweet Chili Sauce. Optionally, sprinkle with brown sugar for an extra candied finish.
  4. Bake
    Place twists on the prepared rack or directly on the foil-lined sheet. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is deep golden, caramelized, and crisp.
  5. Cool Slightly
    Let the bacon twists cool on the rack for 5–10 minutes — they’ll crisp up further as they cool.

 Serving Idea: Bacon Bouquet

Arrange the cooled twists vertically in a mason jar or short vase to create an eye-catching “bacon bouquet.” It makes a fun brunch centerpiece or savory party snack display!
