Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 4 flatbreads or naan (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ cup Azeka’s Maui Original Sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked chicken (or tofu), chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, optional for Hawaiian twist)
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • Optional garnishes: chopped cilantro, sliced green onions, or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbreads on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Brush lightly with olive oil to crisp the crust while baking.
  3. Spread sauce: Use about 2 tbsp of Maui Original Sauce per flatbread, spreading evenly.
  4. Layer toppings: Sprinkle each with mozzarella cheese, then add chicken (or tofu), onion slices, and pineapple chunks if using.
  5. Bake: Place in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
  6. Finish: Drizzle with a little extra Maui Original Sauce before serving. Garnish with cilantro or green onions if desired.
