Ingredients
- 2 lbs (about 4 medium) sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup heavy cream (or milk, for lighter texture)
- 1½ tsp salt, or to taste
- 1-2 tbsp Azeka’s Da Red Lava Sriracha Sauce (adjust to preferred spice level)
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, for balance)
- Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Potatoes
Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain well. - Mash and Mix
Return the hot sweet potatoes to the pot. Add butter, cream, and salt. Mash until smooth and creamy. - Add Flavor
Stir in Azeka’s Da Red Lava Sriracha Sauce – start with one tablespoon, taste, and add more if you’d like extra heat.
For a subtle sweetness, blend in the honey until evenly mixed. - Finish and Serve
Spoon the mashed sweet potatoes into a serving dish. Top generously with herbs if desired.
