Sriracha Honey Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Creamy, buttery comfort with a sweet-spicy twist.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (about 4 medium) sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or milk, for lighter texture)
  • 1½ tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp Azeka’s Da Red Lava Sriracha Sauce (adjust to preferred spice level)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for balance)
  • Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Potatoes
    Place the sweet potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15–20 minutes. Drain well.
  2. Mash and Mix
    Return the hot sweet potatoes to the pot. Add butter, cream, and salt. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Flavor
    Stir in Azeka’s Da Red Lava Sriracha Sauce – start with one tablespoon, taste, and add more if you’d like extra heat.
    For a subtle sweetness, blend in the honey until evenly mixed.
  4. Finish and Serve
    Spoon the mashed sweet potatoes into a serving dish. Top generously with herbs if desired.
